WIRING GUIDES

From VTS Industrial Company

“Painless Telephone Wiring” is a 32-page booklet that tells how, in easy-to-follow sequential instructions, to use conventional networks found in any 1970’s flea-market phone to upgrade old wooden telephone sets. There is also a complete section on how to use the smaller Automatic Electric “mini-network” in tight quarters in cradle or candlestick phones.

Both Western Electric and Automatic Electric dials are covered, as well as wiring for non-dial sets. You can use any combination of network and dial.

“Painless Telephone Wiring” is available for $9.95, postpaid.

“Wiring Telephones to Subset Ringer Boxes” is a 30-page booklet in easy-to-follow sequential instructions on how to use the same networks as described in “Painless Telephone Wiring” in separate ringer boxes connected to a candlestick or early cradle phone via a five-conductor cord. With a separate box, a ringer can be incorporated for use with early phones that have no room inside.

Again, both Western Electric and Automatic Electric dials are covered so you can use any combination. Or, you can wire non-dial sets to ringer boxes.

“Wiring Telephones to Subset Ringer Boxes” is available for $9.95,

postpaid.
